Season 2008 Game 2: Cobras
The second game of our 2008 season saw us up against the Cobras. Our shirts had arrived this week, so we looked like a properly unified team, and the lads rose to the occasion — a 36 to 13 win!
Another set of home runs from Dan and Clint are setting firm expectations for the rest of the season and inspired Jarren and Mark to hit out of the park too. Things were looking a lot tighter on the field, 2008 is shaping up to be a great season for the Brewers.
Best Players: Alan Grose on the mound, Adrian Slee & Jarren Connell infield, Daniel Fry & Clint Sapienza outfield
Best Play: Andy Austen’s attempt at Tunnel Ball.
Hits: A total of 41 hits produced 39 runs with everyone contributing throughout the line-up.
Home Runs: Clint Sapienza 2, Daniel Fry 1, Mark Shellard 1, Jarren Connell 1
Batted 1000: Clint Sapienza, Adrian Slee
